Job Objective – Account Manager
An opportunity has arisen for an account manager with some experience of working in a manufacturing, production, logistics or supply chain environment to join my client. Proactively manage / develop medium to large accounts and build professional relationships with multi-level decision makers (e.g. MD; Buyers / purchasing manager)
Maximise sales opportunities within existing accounts at multiple sites (with new brands / additional SKU’s / applications)
Role Purpose – Account Manager
-Managing medium – large strategic accounts and forming professional relationships with key decision makers.
-Networking within key / major accounts in order to secure all business opportunities (Distributors / wholesalers / retailers)
-Holding regular monthly meetings with internal stakeholders about key accounts
-Weekly & Monthly financial reporting and accurate forecasting (timely input into S&OP, forecasting tool
-Proactively developing new business within the UK Retail Sector and actively approaching potential new customers
Experience Required – Account Manager
-Experience of building business within new markets and winning new retail listings
-Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of growing business within large accounts
-Worked closely with a marketing team and strengthened the brand, organising timely seasonal promotions / campaigns and trade shows etc. for key customers
*Please note working from home is available for this account manager role, however travelling is also needed for this position*
**Salary – £35,000-£40,000**
