Sales/Customer Service Specialist

Job Objective:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service/ Account manager Representative with some experience of working in a manufacturing, production, logistics or supply chain environment to join my successful client. As part of the Customer Services function you will be a driven and enthusiastic individual with excellent operational B2B customer service skills and a knowledge of a production process. You will take on full ownership of Customer queries with the aim to delight a customer at every opportunity whilst looking after key accounts and looking to maximize opportunities..

Role Purpose:

-Support Sales with Samples request and quoting for converted goods and Product Development requests PDR’s
-Effectively respond to customer enquiries, including stock availability, pricing, order status with a focus on achieving first response resolution
-Manage Availabilty issues with customers, negogotiating lead times and potnetial up sell oppotunities to enhance the customer journey with my client
-Effectively support the internal outbound sales and field sales team.
-Understand, manage & manipulate the business backlog report in order to provide proactive feedback and reduce customer queries
-Recognise changes in customer demand and proivde feedback to Operations Manager/ Comeercial Director
-Identify Inventory status and product avaiabilty options

Experience Required:

-Understands how to build new contacts and relationships to develop business/open new opportunities.
-Good PC knowledge (MS-Office) and able to work with large amounts of data (Excel) and make sound conclusions for current status and basic sales projections
-Verifiable successes in sales related activities.
-Proficiency in Oracle/CRM systems
-Ability to pre-empt customer requirements through robust backlog report analysis
